FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):

At SaveCity.net, I have tried to do my best to create a Web site that anticipates and satisfies your deal finding and shopping needs.  However, with every website there are always possible issues or concerns.  To help you get the most out of SaveCity.net, I have compiled a list of the most common Questions and Answers.   If you do not find the answer to your question on this page, please feel free to send me an email at Info@SaveCity.net and I will reply as soon as possible. Q: Why don’t you show more deals for item XYZ ?
A:   I do not post every single deal I find as many “sales” are not bargains.  Therefore, I try not to post anything in my hot deals lists that I don’t consider especially good bargains.  However, I are always open to new ideas and additional products that my users may want to shop for, so please let me know what you are looking for and I will try to help you get the best deal.

Q: I need a deal on an item and you don’t have one.
A: I don’t control which deals are available at which time, but I do try to research every deal at the time of it’s posting to make sure it is still available. Please feel free to let me know what you are looking for and I will try to find additional deals to help you out.

Q: The Web page does not look or act correctly.
A: This web site uses JavaScript and Cookies to perform many functions like organizing text and navigation as well as keeping track of session information (logins, etc. ). Usually the problem occurs due to users not enabling JavaScript (which can be set in the Tools and/or options menus) or the browser the user is using is just too old.

Q: I think my browser is out of date, which browsers do you recommend?
A: While Internet Explorer (also called IE) is probably the most well known and widely used, I personally feel that Mozilla’s Firefox browser is superior in functionality and security.  Most viruses are written to attack the most popular browser (in this case Internet Explorer) and therefore Firefox by default becomes a safer choice.  However, web developers often target IE, so the web pages look the best with IE.  Sometimes Firefox can act a little strangely if the web site was not tested to work with Firefox by the whomever developed it.  This is rapidly changing as Firefox appears to be gaining in popularity, so it will probably be less of an issue going forward. I do my very best to support both browsers, so if you have a problem, please send email to info@savecity.net with a description of the problem and the name and version number (found in the About Window on the browser).

Q: How often should I update my browser software?
A: You should always try to keep your browser up to date (check at least once every 3 months for a newer version) because older browser are more prone to Viruses and security breaches.

Q: Sometimes I cannot seem to access your site.
A: Occasionally the web site may be down, which is generally fixed as fast as possible.  However, sometimes this can be due to my website domain (SaveCity.net) being inadvertently added to you blocked sites list. Make sure that if you are running any security software that you allow access to SaveCity.net, Cj.com, androzers, qksrv.net, cc-dt.com, bfast.com, linksynergy.com, commission-junction.com, and performics.com . These domains are used by SaveCity.net and the merchants to enable you to access various deals. Occasionally, I may add a new site to this list, so check back here again if you experience any problems.

Q: Can I submit a good deal for inclusion on your site?
A: Absolutely. Right now, I are working on a form to allow users to easily submit deals for inclusion on the site.  However, in the meantime, please send any deal siteings to Info@SaveCity.net

Q: Should I bookmark your site?
A: Definately! However, I suggest bookmarking the home page since that contains the most recent and most popular deals. Also, other pages may be changed or moved from time to time, but the home page will always be accessible.

Q: I have a question not listed here. What do I do?
A: Send an email with your question to info@SaveCity.net and I will try to answer you as soon as possible.   Also your questions will help me to create a better FAQ page, so please let me know of any issues or questions!
